Whole team looked off the pace yesterday, not just him.

Was a good bit of play by him to set up the McNeil chance which should have put us ahead.

Was winning his headers against their grocks but all game we were slow to the second ball.

Looked a bit leggy as well. Think it would have been a good opportunity to play him alongside Beto, at least for a while and to let Beto do more of the running.
Totally agree, good post

The lad needs a move in all honesty. I just dont think it's going to happen for him here again.

But there's no guarantee we'd invest the money and I'm not sure who would want him. Hopefully he can stay fit and bang in a few in advance of a summer move, although I'm doubtful on both.

Just a few ex players I'd rather have. Just to put him into perspective from my time watching Everton. Latchford Sharp Grey Wilkinson Clark Rideout Cambell Jonstone(mo) Radzinski Rooney Bent Ferguson Saha Hughes Eto( even though they were finished) Heath. I might come back with a load more but need to take a dump.

He got no service but he did nothing to help that.

I was a very lazy performance but honestly the entire team was.
I don’t like this lazy term. I thought he worked hard in that first half but their grocks at the back were just getting the better of all of our forwards.

If anything, I think it showed that the team was tired rather than lazy as it wasn’t just him.

5 games where we have tried to play high press and high energy in 17 days. With relatively little rotation, certainly in the forward line. Think it just caught up to us a bit.

He looked way off it yesterday, as did many others. I worry that our small squad is struggling to maintain form. We looked dead on our feet in the last few minutes last night.

The big concern with Calvert lewin yesterday was the through ball which he didn't run onto just before he got hooked. Hopefully he was carrying a knock, otherwise it didn't look good for him.

I agree. But that’s why I think it’s tiredness rather than laziness. It wasn’t just him, as a team we looked way off.

So did Fulham mind as they have also had the same run of fixtures.

It was a poor game generally. As I hear was the Chelsea/Newcastle game. So I think it’s a wider issue of fixture congestion rather than just us.
