Anyway, his form is pretty bad currently, his confidence is shot to pieces, he needs a goal or 3 for sure.

I don’t think that’s his issue either, in fact I think that was probably why he was getting injured walking up the stairs.

At the end of the day, and it really is this simple, he’s just a very very poor finisher. Always has been, even during his purple patches his goals tended to be headers or awkward scuffs.

What gets me is he's missed 2 clear chances already today which really can't be defended. Also this holding up play people tell me about is none existant, the ball does not once stick with him for others to play off. Dawson has him on toast so far. Really needs to buck up if he is involved next half.
