I think our expectations are too high. He's never been a good PL striker.

Had one good season under Carlo when team generally did better than expected. I still think having no fans at matches was big part of us doing well that season.

He's not getting great service the way Dyche sets up, but still nowhere near the likes of Toney, Wilson, Watkins, even Solanke, Welbeck are better players.

Anyway, his form is pretty bad currently, his confidence is shot to pieces, he needs a goal or 3 for sure.

Had the goal against Spurs counted, people wouldn't be giving it now (well so much at least). Such are the fine lines in sport.

Sort of thing they’d do though. Statement signing to show their fans they have money and can bully the clubs below them. Wouldn’t put it past them at all, especially after their recent horrible run of form.
