Doesn't just need one goal. Needs to score something like 5 in 5 to make up for how poor he's been the past few months. I think he's struggling badly from playing more football than he has in years. Looks so far off it.

Look he is an average forward not in form. Beto another average forward is showing more recently and deserves starting. Simple.

DCL just isn't a very good striker. He did well (for a brief period) under Ancelotti but both before and after that brief period his scoring record has been Championship level, at best. I know that we can't afford better and many want to believe that he's better than he is but that's just self-delusion.

Bizarre how people still knock Howe for that signing. He’s scored 65 for them and they could sell him in January for a profit if they wanted.

No one doubts his play off the ball. It is when he has the ball that even an expert eye sees he is not that good
