Quality center forwards play a huge part of creating chances and building attacks though. Holding the ball up waiting for the rest of the team to move up, starting counter-attacks, playing wingers through on goal etc. Watch Kane, Levandowski, Benzema, even Giroud is brilliant at this. As was Yakubu for us back in the days.

DCLs overall ability and composure on the ball is as poor now as its always been. With zero creativity in the squad to put it on a plate for him, he now scores 1 or 2 a season instead og 7-8.

Is it crazy to say hes not in the same class as the names you mentioned?
