What a crapshow today was.

Decent enough to get the ball down to someone but absolutely no confidence going for those headers when it's a shot - looks like he's afraid to hit it if it's a shot somehow.

Weird. Expect struggling strikers to just hit the target and hope it goes in off the keepers shoulder given his form. But all the “longer you go without scoring the closer you are to scoring” stuff has him nice and relaxed and still going for the corners, and constantly missing.

Playing percentage crap isolates him, makes him look even worse and suits no-one around him. Doucs didn’t get within 10 yards of Dom.

Probably our fastest player across open space and every single aspect of play is designed to ensure he never runs anywhere other than to close down a kicking keeper.

I appreciate that he wants to win the ball and help for the build up everywhere, but it's been 14 prem games without a goal. Just cannot always back him when he misses chances like in min 79 from 5 yards. He had not a lot, but a striker needs to be there, even when it's only 1 or 2.

Or off to the side to lay the ball off to a winger who crosses to no one as DCL isn't in the box anymore anyway.

Think he tried for power with the 1st header and missed badly, got in his head and jumped for the second with absolutely no conviction.

I think you are making excuses for him. As a minimum he should be able to put the ball within the confines of the goal and not miss it completely…
