We had Beto, Harrison, Onana and Chermiti all on the bench tonight.

With the likes of Ashley Young starting.

Doesn't inspire confidence in our recent scouting/DOF.

Again, would love to get behind a no brainer shout of change a striker who hasn't scored in nearly 20 games but such is my view of Beto and Chermiti, I can't.

I think after watching that we all agree the manager got it wrong not starting at least Onana and Harrison. Beto doesn't look great but he's not got a run in the team. Being given the thankless task of coming on chasing the game for the last 20 mins isn't going to improve him..it literally can't get worse than where we are now for toothlessness.

Nor will Sean sadly. We know the automatic name on the team sheet now. Dobbin simply could not have done worse than this bloke over that run of games. A disgrace at the moment to a blue number 9 shirt. Hope he comes good obviously but doubt it very much.
 

I thought this was the first time that Beto and DCL were in the pitch together, and didn’t get in each others way.

Again, played well overall and set up Garner for what should have been a goal.

Again, should have scored at least twice.

He was our best midfielder before the changes hoof ball does not suit any CF - Pickford as a goal provider is not the answer - the team selection in the worst first half ever imo

It’s where we got the most out of him Mike, we’re trying to make him a target man which he’s never been in the 8 years he’s been here
 

Feeling sorry for him now. We're even putting the ball on a plate for him and he still can't score.

He should have had at least 3 tonight

He’s certainly never been a goal scorer either (in actual real matches in front of fans)

If we’re trying to turn a player who’s as bad at finishing as him into a poacher, we’re onto a loser with that one I think.
