Yes, then he said F off under his breath. I mean I get the frustration but also let’s have it right, not 1 player tried their best today, it was awful. Our recruitment team have continually let the lad down by their refusal to sign alternative striking options, and by continuing to so openly state his importance to the team. They've constantly ramped up the pressure on him, all the way back to when Benitez kept saying we'd be better when he came back.

Sign other forwards. Take the pressure off him. Use him off the bench at times. Build a style and system with the other options.

It has been unfair on the player, and equally could well get us relegated.

I think that's far too generous, if you don't get regular top ten finishes then you start abusing a lad back from rehab going off with a potential cheekbone fracture? They embarrassed themselves and I'm ashamed of them.
