I've been posting stats relating to Doms goalless steak recently and been slating him for how poor he's been infront of goal.

Absolutely delighted for him to have finally got a goal last night but I don't think he'll be feeling totally confident until he nets one from open play.

Fingers crossed he can do that against Burnley because back to back goals, however he gets them will definitely give him and the rest of the team a little boost.

Yes, to a point. But centre forwards should be gagging to take penalties. It’s their job to score. I’m pleased for us that he scored, and for the player himself. He gets credit from me for scoring. Shying away would have exposed him as a coward. Taking it and missing would have exposed him to shouts of incompetence. But he scored. As he should do. Now, he MUST continue this when he next plays. 23 games without a goal is, frankly, a more embarrassing return than even Dyche’s 13 without a win.
Beto missed his pen ?

People underestimate confidence in the game.

Hope he can get an early one against Burnley and kick on.

I think its a bit more than that. But Everton are more important than him so i hope he's at least got a lift from last night and is chomping at the bit for the run in.
Then do everything we can to not have him as first choice next year. He really isnt good enough to be relying on season after season.

Hope he bangs a few in now. I expect he may agitate for a move soon, and best of luck to him provided he keeps us up with a bit of a run in the remaining games.

Good to see Dominic Calvert-Lewin scoring yesterday. It was probably more difficult for him to score from the penalty spot than it would've been from open play, his nerves must have been racing.
