Wouldn’t be surprised if kopite kev went and bid 20 mill for Tom cannon as DCLs replacement without realising he sold cannon for half of that last year.

I would be utterly crushed if he left. Much more than Richy. DCL is everything to a Dyche system also.
I was pretty gutted when Richy left and it stings even more so that we didnt replace him, thats very much the danger with DCL.

I dont play FM. I did play championship manager decades ago and gave FM a whirl a few years ago.
Lost me on 2.5mil over 48months. Thats illogical.
Sign a player at £50mil.
Year 1 = £10mil payment
Year 2 = £10mil paymwnt
Year 3 = £10mil payment
Then we would need to come up with the £20mil to cover the last 2 years payments.
Thats not exactly mission impossible.

He played 33 out of 38 games this season. I don't know much about maths, but that's not 20%.

I think with good service and managed properly he is a very good striker and will score goals as proved when Digne, Richie and James were in the same team, I do think he is at an age now we're we will start to see the best of him, will be gutted to see him do that Newcastle

But if you criticise him you get told ‘he’s not fully fit’.
I don't think I've said that this season.
His goals are the only concern this season, his fitness and his overall performance has been tip top for me.
Willing to admit he should have 5 or so more goals and that long period without a goal was very bad.
But in that time he still did his job of leading the line and being a vital outlet.
That's my view.
