I think both is true, he misses a lot, he's not used right.

For example comparing to Chris Wood, that got 4 goals in a low scoring mainly defensive playing Nuno squad again, with 12 shots taken in total.

But they don't cut it for a top 8 squad, there are too many flaws at both.

The team well higher up the table unbeaten away you mean ....DCL would thrive in that set up ....

Don is not to blame for the awful Everton Dyche tactics and the type of service he gets. But that should not disguise that he is overrated anyway. He probably would struggle to get in any other PL side.

He's not overrated - he's had bad luck with injuries - if all the moaners on this thread will see to replace him will cost big money .... Beto £29 million not fit to lace DCL's boots e.g.

It’s more the set up than the player, I think any striker would struggle to score goals in this team.

Ideally, you play to a striker's strengths, rather than expecting a striker to play a game that doesn't suit him. Look back to the goals under Ancelotti...

Why haven't we done that ever since?

We had Rodriguez, Richarlison, Sigurdsson, Digne who could all create. The club has been run into the ground and all left. It's not a mystery.

It's dense when people put it all on Dyche. We've gone from talented players who can provide, to the options we now have.

What's he supposed to do with no service ? Any no 9 will look poor in our set-up - every week he is targeted as he won't sign a contract - I don't blame him as i stated if he missed a few sitters I would not defend him at all

He missed 2 in the Villa game alone ffs He's missed countless sitters.
