2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin


Another lack lustre, half arsed performance today. I've always defended him on the grounds that although he is a poor finisher, he gives100% and leads the line well. That no longer appears to be the case. He looks disinterested and very rarely bust a gut to get on the end of crosses into the box, that used to be one of his better traits. Who knows the reason for this, he may be concerned about getting an injury which spoils his chance of a big contract on a Bosman at the end of the season, or perhaps he is just fed up with what Dyche asks of him. Either way, he should not be getting selected, a lack of effort and involvement will eventually rub of on others.

He isn’t, its hyperbolic nonsense largely based on his injury record, and partially down to one of either his lack of scoring, his off field stuff or his contract status

Even today he wasn’t that bad, and grew more into once the dope in the dugout realised he needed someone alongside him up front
 
No pride in himself. Couldn’t raise his game even a bit when Beto come on.Beto put himself about more at least got in to positions to score while dcl strolls around half assed.

He needs gone out the team why are we persevering with him when he is apparently going we’re getting F.A for him and won’t be in any future plans

He's been extremely poor for weeks. Nowhere near the levels you expect to see from an Everton centre forward.

I blame Dyche at this point for selecting him. We need to try someone else and move on from DCL.
