2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Wonder in his head who he thinks he's entitled to play for lol . I don't see him getting in many other first 11 . He's deffo a rotation option for a few clubs but he's never done well rotating here.
He's been treated like the second coming of Dixie Dean at this club, so is it any wonder if he has delusions of grandeur. Excuses have been trotted out for every no-show or bad miss. The lad has been coasting here for years.

He's not the biggest problem at the club or even in the team by a long chalk, but he needs to be removed from his plinth because he is certainly not part of any solution when the time eventually comes to put this club back on the road to recovery.

Basically, we don't have the time to indulge his circus - a circus, it must be said, largely created by the club itself.

Suspect we saw the last of him at Goodison yesterday.

I'm sure that will please most, but whatever happens, Beto simply can't be his replacement.

I never thought Baby Bami would be his replacement either but Beto did more when he came on than Dom did on the pitch yesterday. He can at least be a handful for the defenders to play against moving them out of the way like bowling pins. But ouu CFs need to play in the box not outwide btw.

Totally agree

Not the same though is it?

Dcl went down instead if having a strike, knowing a dive will get overturned anyway ( like it did )

Brighton done it exactly as you described, to break up the game etc when var can't intervene

He had his back to the goal and was about to lay it off to the edge of the box when Dunk sliding in made contact. Pretty much every forward now in the box will go down feeling contact and plenty get penalties so odd to criticise him for that.
