With our midfield players & slow wingers & lack of overlapping fullbacks - I am afraid most strikers will struggle in the present set up .....

DCL is poor on 1 on ones .... but its the lack of chances that deprive a striker's instinct in our team atm ....

Over a 20 year spell its not great to have around 5 and just one who was really top class. I'd say what we have now is up there with the worst batch. I dont rate any of them tbh. Calvert lewin is nothing more than ok. He'll have his moments. He's possibly the most over hyped in a while though. I dont know or have heard a single non Everton fan who rates him. Certainly not like some on this forum. Its bizare to the point of now humorous.

Always felt the Yak didn't turn up for big games, Johnson had a proper purple patch for a while, everything he hit went in, he was proper PING , Jelavic the same purple patch for a shorter period then fell off a cliff

Mate 5 teams were after him when we had money he was a real great signing - he is playing great now - why - he has been given a run in the team at Atlanta - other clubs are after him now & we virtually gave him away like Antonie Robinson a capped left back ......

Any decent youth player is sold or sent out on loan, leaving us with little cover - maybe the new owners will stop the rot ?......

His time with us has come to an end, thank you for your goals, be them few and far between recently and get someone else in.

I agree with that - would be very sad to see him succeed elsewhere in the Prem though ....

Well he's gona be up there due to the longevity of him being here now. His goals to games ratio is not great. For someone who is what i would class a centre forward his assists are more or less non existent. I think Olly watkins supplied more assists in one season than calvert lewin has in his entire Everton career.
He's alright. Thats it. Ive never hid the fact i dont think he's anything other that alright. The only issue i have is how this club hasnt been able to buy a decent alternative in the past 5 years. If there's a club thats cocked that up more then i'd like them to be pointed out. I could do with a laugh.

Well his goal to game ratio may not be good but i ask you to look at betos goal to game ratio if you want to play him instead of dom

I was gona chuck jelavic in. But he went stale like week old milk at an alarming rate.
