That people hate on dom when hes outscored EVERY striker of recent memory. Minus lukaku
It really annoys me this.
People saying that we " gave Lookman away ".
We didn`t, we made a profit on a player who didn`t want to be here, hadn`t exactly lit the place up and from us went to one of the best teams in Europe for developing young players ( where he apparently wanted to go ).
Despite them giving him every chance, they gave him a proper run in their team, but he did nothing and was eventually loaned out to Fulham and Leicester, neither of whom wanted him either.
So that`s three other teams apart from us, who deemed him not all that.
At long last, he`s found somewhere that he seems to be happy at and is playing good football, but it`s taken the best part of 6/7 seasons for him to get there.
Oh and at the time, Robinson didn`t look like he was going to make the grade, so he went to the mighty Wigan, as they were the only ones interested in him at the time.
Every club has players like this that they`ve let go.
I`m sure Chelsea fans, for all their riches, say the same things about De Bruyne, Salah and the version of Lukaku that we got.
So lets not pretend, we messed up with Lookman, as we didn`t.
Profit by the time we paid Charlton a % of the sale we just about broke even .....he never had a proper run in our team - end of - we played lesser players in his position- now the team over the park are even looking at him !

If your argument can be flipped to show exactly how uneffective Dom can be in front of goal, the opposite point to the one youre trying to make - its a crap argument, not worth posting.
Doms been here for 9 seasons, and is a little over half way towards matching Roms output in less than half the time Doms been here.
I like Dom btw, but your argument is borderline farcical. Hes got plenty of positives to point out, but sadly his goalscoring isnt one of em. Your point proves just how ineffective he is, not the other way around.

HE DIDN`T WANT TO LEARN HIS TRADE OR BE AT EVERTON.
HE FLOPPED AT RED BULL.

By virtue of him playing more than every other striker put together that's been here during his time at Everton.
Just because the others were even worse doesn't make him great.
And in case anyone doesn't believe me about that. Going all the way back to the likes of Valencia and Kone all strikers not named Dom have been given 12037 minutes in the league, usually at the end of matches after Dom has started. Dom has played 15249 minutes in the prem for us so far.
All of the other strikers managed 33 goals in those 12037 minutes, a goal every 364 minutes. Dom is better than that with his 56 in 15249 minutes for a goal every 272 minutes in the league. Neither of these are rates you would be shouting about and it tells the story that Dom has been better than all of the other strikers we've had here but he's just been alright at best while everyone else around him was worse.
