DCL hasn't exactly lit pre-season or the first game on fire. If he had it would be a different story. I think it's quite clear that it's having an impact on the club. There is a weird atmosphere around him and the fans.

Almost forgot about pre season where he missed a load of sitters.

Think there’s something in that. He’s showed he stayed fit and the end of the season for a run of games, made it through a full pre season and now started the first league game.

None, sometimes the service you get is by the runs you make!
Any chance he could try and create something himself, ye know like get hold of the ball turn and run at the defender
Or shift left or right create half a yard then have a shot.
Or make runs across defenders in the box instead of standing there like a statue waiting to get his head on it.

Hecwould have scored that pen - posting about VAR the ref blew his whistle & disallowed a perfectly good Crstal Palace goal - the decision could not go to VAR?
Our ref whistled & pointed to the Dunk was so late with his lunged late tackle on DCL so what's the difference? The hew rule of the referees on field decisions unless offside or any other infringements have to stand - Palzce & us got stuffed by VAR this weekend!

I think we have to remember he's fully within his rights to stay until the end of his contract and he can't be forced out, especially when it appears the club has placed an unrealistic price tag on him.

He'll probably get a decent move as a backup striker - I could see Villa or West Ham being a decent fit for him, but also wouldn't rule out a move abroad.

He'll stay imo, then leave next summer.
