Sandro may be talented, but he’s looked almost laughably bad in nearly every game he’s played. Niasse we all love but is very, very “raw”, to put it kindly, and struggles when he starts games.

Calvert-Lewin, aside from his top work rate and decent hold up play, has scored, won the penalty and put the cross in for our last three goals.

That’s one of the worst shouts I’ve seen in a long, long time.

I could play and run and up down non stop for the whole game and I wouldn't score any goals either . But seriously, I Iike him, tries hard, just not good enough for us (neither are niasse and sandro) unless we are happy to be a bottom /mid table prem team.

They're all likely to be important members of the squad for the next few years, so tying them down with new contracts makes a lot of sense and, though it sounds like corporate b/s, it's protecting our investment as well.

Dom has done very well this season. Can't be easy for a young lad, up front on his own, playing in a struggling team.

To the doubters, no he hasn't scored many goals, but his overall contribution has been excellent, with assists, fouls won, basically annoying the hell out of defenders with his pressing & work-rate, and hold-up play.

He's certainly earned the new contract me thinks.

I will believe what all the professionals say about this kid. He's played the whole season up front, on his own, when we've been very poor. He's never complained, never given up, played his part, scored goals, played for the team. I have no idea what you are watching sir but it isn't with open eyes.

Whilst I appreciate your response, I honestly don’t see a striker there, he has no natural instinct that good strikers have.

That cross that coco put in last night should have been put away, but we will no doubt find out over the coming months on how good he is, I would love to be proved wrong

I want him to do well but has anyone ever seen him actually strike a ball well ? Like ever ?
