I think he's done well considering we create absolutely nothing outside of him.

That's were our opinions differ. Would rather have Naisse on rather than DCL. Lot of learning still to do IMO and that's why I would prefer him loaned out. As awful as Naisse is he is still a bigger threat than DCL at the moment.

I partially agree. It depends, really.

Niasse is generally terrible within his hold up play, and that is practically the sole way we've played all season. Dcl is more suited for that as he wins most headers, but he is almost always completely isolated and therefore it's wasted.

By no means am I advocating that Dcl is the finished article, but I prefer him to Niasse (whom I think is better off the bench).

He’s not quite good enough to be a striker at this level. He will get a few every season that’s it. He tries his best and seems to work hard but unfortunately I’m just not sure he’s got the ability. As a third or fourth choice striker he’s great

One thing I will say to be fair to him it’s not like we create anything for him!

He's at the level of Cadamarteri and Michael Branch. He might have a few decent games here and there against dross, but simply nowhere near good enough to be playing regularly. He's an honest hard-working lad but he's just not good enough for us.

We tried that last year and he was completely ineffective. That was with Barkley and Lukaku alongside him too.
