Looks very average, as do most of our young players. Disappointing but this season has shown that we need players who can come in and immediately have an impact now. DcL must be loaned out next season, he's nowhere near Tosun's level and while he does have some good qualities such as work rate, Niasse arguably has better work rate than him and is a bigger goal threat. No point in stifling his development and keeping him around as a third choice striker. Loan him out and we'll see what he can do in a full season where he's a teams number 1 striker.

I really think it's time we gave up the ghost with all these younger players. I just don't see the point if they're not ready to contribute consistently for the first team by the time they're 20.

Just sell them and let somebody else waste valuable game time developing them. In the unlikely event any of them turn out to be any good we can always buy then back. At the moment all they're doing is stopping some of our more experienced players getting pitch time.

But I don’t think he has the ability required to make it at this level.

Exactly. No way Davies, Holgate and DCL should be getting game time ahead of Schneiderlin, Williams and Niasse. Ridiculous.

He's not a bad player, just a terrible finisher. Tosun on the other hand is a great finisher so yeah, could learn a lot from him.

But I just don't like my strikers who can't score, it's like having a defender who can't defend like David Luiz.

Calvert Lewin has been a good buy for the price, he's not ready for us just yet though.
