I think he needs to have more composure with his play and to get his head up and look to see what options he has. I really like what i have seen but he is a developing player and needs to allowed to do this without the added pressure of being our only target man.

Koeman needs to play him as a CF or not at all.

Great cross for the goal today though.

I'm absolutely 100% DCL's biggest critic... when he's on the wing, or Wing back.

I sat and moaned the Gwladys Street down screaming for him to be played in the middle of a three with Sandro and Rooney in the second half, and well he was absolutely sublime.

I have to question why Koeman consistently plays this lad on the wing, when he's a very talented forward. We're looking for a big name target man, yet this lad could easily be the solution.

Very very creative for the second half, caused a very rigid stoke defence all sorts of problems and was just great.

Now Koeman, you're the boss, but please Christ, start the Europa match with the second half team, and let's wipe Hajduk away, so we can rest a few of the key players in the second leg.

..it was a great cross, Martin, forgot about that.

Boss.

Playing him right wing is one thing though, right wing back was ridiculous

To be honest I don't think he was really playing right wing back in the first half. It seemed to me he was further forward than that and Gana slipped over to the right back position a lot to cover defensively, but it was a weird setup whatever it was.

Tbf agreed thinking back properly, but what an absolute mess that is regardless.
