Never saw anything in him until second half of one of the matches this season and then for 75% today. Bossed it.

Kinda reminds me of Harry Kane, you see them and think "no way if he a premier league footballer" but just seems to get it right.

Gladly tip my cap if he can add a good amount of goals to his game.
He reminds of Harry Kane. Kane didnt look very good in his first Tottenham games. And then he got beter and better. DCL has to work on his body strenght.

Once again the morons are looking silly. They will never learn.
Played well, but let's not get carried away. He IS limited. This isn't a lad who can lead the line IMO, and if CF is his only position as Koeman indicated then his stressing that a CF is crucial to be brought in this window tells you that's exactly what the manager is thinking of him. too.

on TalkSport

There's your problem. There is absolutely nothing of any merit on that station. It's just one bloke spouting cliches about a player or team he's only ever seen 2 clips of on MOTD last season or someone making deliberately contentious statements in the hope of getting an idiot to ring in.

I bet their studios stink of sweat, hangovers and divorce.

No, I don't accept your meek "soz lads called him wrong" apologies you cowardly shitheads. Ronald Koeman (you may have heard of him) put his considerable football faith and judgement in the lad and sent him out there in royal blue and what did many of you? Write him off, say he's not worthy of the shirt, all after a handful of games.

Because you, in your narcisstic haze, think you can tell a player better than Ronald Koeman. And you, yes YOU, think that getting on the back of young lads eagerly trying to forge a career at your beloved Everton need a fat dull texan like you berating them and their confidence.

This stops here you tits. Get off Klaassen's back too before taking a moment to realise that you should think before you speak. That there's no prizes for calling one of your own players crap before anyone else does you bad weirdos.

Pipe down and get before us to offer grovelling apologies or by the good grace of Jah I will vault every single last one of you ferrets.

I've only backed the lad. We need to let him grow before being critical of him. Think a new striker would be perfect to protect him from overexposure given how demanding the league is.

He's certainly going to offer options against lesser teams and the bench whilst he grows.

Really excited for him and his future with us.

Basically showed that he is a striker NOT a winger today, much of the fume must in part get thrown at him being played out of position by the boss.

Good performance last night mind

It's natural for strikers to be played on the wing when being introduced to the pace of the league. Think the time spent on the wings isn't over as far as Koeman is concerned as still valuable experience to be learnt.

It's mildly entertaining in my commute to and from work. I enjoy listening to people phoning in and raging at the most obvious attempts at bait.

Here's a little taster from the lads ITK about all things football ;)

So one boss game, and a few decent bits here and there, okay Thomas.

I actually rate the lad playing down the middle, and have actually said it a few times mate, but early days to get too carried away. Let's see how the rest of the season goes, because at the end of the day we all want the same for the lad, to be a boss centre - forward.

PS, by the way, my Bret Angell comparison was tongue in cheek.:D

So was my post lol

Was just filling 5 mins mate, no harm meant.

just seen on Twitter another angle of the Walker sending off. Sky neglected to use this angle which is a shame as it clearly shows what appears quite heavy contact on the chin from Walkers shoulder. I still don't think it's a yellow still, i think Walker is just trying to make himself big but DCL was clearly hit in the face and not play acting like that RS plank on Monday Night football was implying.

No play acting at all. Got a shoulder barge bang on the chin. Sky only showed clips of one angle.
