Did a decent job tonight.

A top striker would have taken the chance he had, which is why we still need a top striker, but the lad's movement and energy is going to cause a lot of teams problems over the next few years. If, he can be anywhere near as close to being as clinical in front of goal as Rom was, then that, coupled with his all round game, would mean he'd be a top, top player, but, no-one knows, he may never get that edge in front of goal. But, even if he ends up being a 10 to 15 goals per season forward, he's still likely to end up being bloody useful.

People have been spoilt with having Rom around for four seasons and now automatically judge any forward by his goal scoring exploits, and forget the other parts of a strikers job. But OK, that's the internet and right-hand shufflers for you.

Definitely can see something in him now which i couldn't see last season... not too sure about his finishing ability though.
that'll come, he may be trying too hard and snatching at chances at the moment, more experience and confidence in his own abilities and he'll get to his level, whatever that is. I do like his movement across the line

Your last sentence is Koamen good and proper.:)

My only criticism of him is needing to be a bit more clinical.
But he is young enough for that to come.
He has everything else to be a top player.

Tall, strong, great link up play, a nice bit of skill in him, can hold the ball up and intelligent movement! :)

A player in form as striker.. So play him as a striker. Annoys when managers play players out of position to do a job

I thought he was superb on the left tonight mate. Small things, little runs, little touches.

Koeman is having him play all over the place and the kid is learning at a tremendous pace. He might only put in 1 top drawer performance every 3/4 games at the minute but you can see it in things he does, Koeman has got this kid and absolutely loves him becsuse it's not just talent, it's in game nouse he's picking up.

Just my opinion though mate ;)
