I am not bothered to watch the congressional hearings about Bengazi and emails.

Just wonder how a rational and intelligent person can hate someone they don't know. Thats all Finners. Carry on.
I don't personally know Rolf Harris but I'm pretty sure he's a [Poor language removed]

If Trump was facing a descent opponent then this wouldn't be a race. Apart from being the most unliked candidates they must be the most limited in ability.
Trump is running his campaign against Bill Clinton. Hilary Clinton reminds me of Everton under Martinez when we had teams beaten all ends up and still managed to lose.
I am sure if you offered both the big parties in America the chance to replace their candidates they would jump at it.

Mate, you dont know if im rational and intelligent..and Secondly you dont know if I really hate her, infact I can actually be in love with her x

He lost as soon as that first debate was over and the comments about grabbing them by the [Poor language removed] completely buried him.

I'm just watching for the entertainment now, Hilary is the new president barring an absolute miracle.

Hate is perhaps too strong a word - but there is a load of evidence to suggest that, actually, she isn't very good. Take her time as Secretary of State for instance, when she was wrong over Libyan intervention, deeply wrong over Benghazi, wrong over Iran and sanctions, wrong over the Arab Spring and kicked off the support of the anti-Assad rebels who have helped to turn Syria into such a popular spot for one's holidays. Or look at her performance as Senator, when she managed to be wrong in supporting the invasion of Iraq and managed to be wrong in opposing the surge that briefly improved things in that country (and probably would have done much to prevent what followed, had Maliki not messed it up).

The contrast with John Kerry, who has spent much of his time as Secretary of State putting out fires that she helped start, is staggering. If the Republican Party hadn't painted itself into such a corner (over its family values / anti-immigrant / anti-science / pro-fossil fuels / pro money / anti-reality policies) that Trump genuinely was the least crazy one of the candidates, she would have no chance.

Good post mate.

I don't know, there's still another debate, and I think it's an established strategy to pull your punches in the middle debate. Obama did it 4 years ago against Romney IIRC and absolutely destroyed him in the 3rd. It's the one that's freshest in people's memory when they go to the booths.

That's genuinely my thinking. Trump is a massive balloon, but people should vote him in and show the two parties how willing they are to turn to chaos unless a transparent, equitable system is put into place. Always darkest before the dawn and all that
She doesn't need to throw any punches. The moderators do that. All her job is to stand there looking Presidential and laugh along after the moderator pulls him apart. It gives her the look of having more authority while subconsciously making us feel she is one of us.

It's actually pretty shameful and obvious that this election is nothing more than Wall Street stealing the US democratic system.

From now on neither democrats or republicans will be able to run on the issues. It will be Latino democrats vs Black democrats vs White democrats. All basically saying their group is more in need to money from the state. This is turn will place too much of a border on the middle classes and eventually their economy will collapse.

You would hope that the right would take this defeat (if it happens) and have a complete rethink of what it is they are doing. At the moment, they are a coalition of views - religious liberty*, neo-conservatism, fiscal conservatism - of which only the first two matter, despite the fact that as theories they are excrement and the country was actually built on the third. If they switch to a genuine fiscal conservatism, combined with an acceptance that there are some functions that the State actually is in the best position to provide (especially healthcare, where the federally-funded medicaid / medicare programme is basically a massive scam**), then they will probably be back quite quickly. To do that though they will have to purge almost all of their current leadership.

* which of course means the liberty to tell other people how to behave
** the cost per capita for just those two programmes (not counting the cost of the actual private health system) is quite a bit more than the cost per capita of the entire NHS
It doesn't matter. Identity politics has ruined the US system. Now it will just be a question of numbers but all those new illegal immigrants Hillary is going to allow in will mean it's certain Republicans can't win in the future.

Identity politics and with the religious right the right where just as bad so this isn't a political point. Both have done it but only the left tried to gerrymander the results by importing a load of voters. We also have to realize. What she means as the left isn't what others do. She has no intention of soaking the rich. It will all come from professional people with relatively well paid jobs and will destroy the middle classes as work just will no longer pay.

If Trump wins he would probably face more problems with Congress than Clinton would.

There's no way Trump will win. If he wins the vote they would find another reason.

After all in the electoral college system you don't actually vote a candidate. I never much believed that early on but having seen how unbiased not just the news organizations but the moderators etc It's frankly unreal what is going on.

Only Hilary voting bedwetters give a monkeys about what he said on that tape, it changes nothing.

I don't know, out in the world of the people he still appears to command more votes than Clinton.
