Donald Trump for President Thread

This still a serious thing? C'mon yanks, i have admitted i would happily take routine school executions over replacing Barack with this ming.

As much as I think he's a deplorable numptey, I'm really looking forward to the presidential debates with Hilary. Reckon he's going to do some mad trolling in there

A lot is going to depend on Trump's tactics when going head to head with Hillary Frump. He must be itching to go both barrels and be as nasty as possible to ruffle her, but he will be advised no doubt to be more statesmanlike, talk about unity, exude responsibility and charm and all the rest to impress the wider audience.

I noticed that Trump despite his primary wins has only won about 35% of the votes cast, the vote being of course split several ways. It is far from certain that the supporters of Cruz, Rubio, Bush, Carson etc will flock to him in turn come the Presidential elections themselves. In order to win Trump needs to maximise the natural Republican vote and eat into the Democratic vote. Is this likely on both counts?

Yes, but that assumes his nomination and assumes his nomination doesn't tear the GOP apart.

He's polling frighteningly well among "moderates" although most people self-identify as moderate and view those who disagree with them to be more extreme.

It is a perfect storm. Cruz and Rubio split the base enough that Trump builds a following among the scared, gullible, and angry. Normally this would result in good odds on another Democrat president, but the Democrats have managed to put forward a well-rounded candidate with questionable motives (Clinton) against a one-dimensional candidate with altruistic motives (Sanders); one of which would consolidate opposition against her and one which would bleed out in naive martyrdom in a general election.

Meet The Warlock Who Predicts Trump Is Gonna Lose The Election

El Gordo y La Flaca,” the internationally-renowned wizard used his tarot deck to plumb the depths of the dark future. Asked about Donald Trump — a candidate for the Republican nomination for president who has angered many Latinos with offensive comments about immigrants — Vazquez was unequivocal.
“Two triangles of spades!” the great warlock exclaimed as he flipped through his cards. “The man has countless problems. And see, here is the devil himself! He will never become candidate for the Republican party. And there’s more! I’m certain that in December, Trump will fall into a nervous crisis and will probably have to be sent to a psychiatric hospital.”
Vazquez also made other predictions. Speaking in Mexico, he told reporters from theAssociated Press he believes Joaquin “Shorty” Guzmán also known as El Chapo— the head of the Sinaloa drug cartel who last year escaped from a maximum security prison for the second time in his career — will probably die at the hands of the Mexican authorities before the year is out.
The wizard, however, was uncharacteristically cautious in his assessment of the drug lord’s fate.
“If they find him, and there’s a great possibility that they will, they will kill him,” Vazquez told reporters. “They won’t risk losing him for a second time.”
Vazquez’s predictions have sometimes proven wrong. In 2012, for example, he was forced to shave his trademark hair and beard when he wrongly predicted that Barack Obama would not be re-elected as president.
Whether the Great Warlock will have to once again subject his wizardly beard to the scissors of humiliation depends on the American people — and on the stars.
