Donald Trump for President Thread

I agree on much of that, but there are other sides, I work within one of the poorest states in the US and deal with many different scenarios. Many people come here to make a better life for themselves and yes they should be given the chance to make things right. However there is another side, people who have no intention of ever doing that, happy to carry on the way they are.

Also try telling a family who have lost a loved one in a car accident between an uninsured undocumented person carrying a license with false information on it.

It's difficult for people in this world but just because it's hard doesn't make it right that people bend the rules. Also how many people from African Nations would love the chance to start a life in the US or any other Western country for that matter but will never get the chance?

For sure...can see that side as well. It is a huge problem.

That said if we didn't make it so ridiculously hard to do it the right way we could eliminate so much of the illegal entry.

I am going for my citizenship, in all honesty I'm hoping it comes after the election, I don't like either of these two. Trump comes out with crazy comments, and Hillary should be in prison, she just can't stop lying. Somebody mentioned something about how anybody can vote for Trump I feel exactly the same way about Clinton. I say thanks America for giving me the choice between Clinton or Trump, how on earth did this happen.
Trump the nutty megalomaniac, or Clinton, the egregiously dishonest megalomaniac...who to elect?

Talk about being caught between a rock and a hard place

There are a few ways you can interpret what he is saying but don't think his spokewoman really helps with her "clarification" if she reallh said this...

Katrina Pierson's long-awaited explanation: Trump was saying an assassination "could" happen, not that it "should" happen.

You think he's reached the limit of crassness, until the next day when he says something even worse. For most of my life I've aligned myself with Republicans, but they've gone so whacky recently it's untrue, with Trump the icing on the cake. Very sad times for America.

With every outrageous statement he makes he is pulling himself further and further from winning. He is losing Republicans all over the show with his antics (which are exactly the same that he did in the primaries...it can't actually come as a surprise to the right wing).

Simply put...he is unfit for the position and everyone knows it and it's scary as hell what he might do.

They just had a Republican voter on Radio 4, and his basic argument was that Trump wasn't advocating violence against women, but more that even if Washington repeals the 2nd, we can still keep our guns, and he used the analogy that you only need a car to drive, not a license. To which the journalist asked whether Trump was therefore promoting breaking the law, and the bloke responded that the Constitution is the law...

He came across as a slightly less batty version of Alex Jones.

this whole the constitution is sacrosanct is just ridiculous, also why are people only bothered about the 2nd amendment? never get to hear much about any other parts of it...

Is it just me or has anyone wondered if Clinton let these emails out on purpose, you know, let the Rusky's and others know exactly what you want them to know.
I have no idea what was in them but I wouldn't be surprised if it came from the top to send info out on purpose, those Americans are crafty sods.

However, if it was just her stupidity, she should be shot at dawn.

Imagine if every country started changing bits and bobs every so often to fit with the current times though, like some sort of reform or something.

Proper mad thought that though, better not risk it America.

haha, yeah they just use whatever fits their agenda...

And of course, Trump supporters will see nothing wrong with him advocating that Russian hackers break into the Democrat IT systems or that gun-toters take out their frustration on Clinton in the event that they lose the election. Nothing wrong with these things at all. Very statesmanlike behaviour.

Very presidential of him too. That's the guy I'd trust any nuclear weapon and the ability to start and finish a war overnight.

He seems incapable of staying on message, whenever he even tries to tone it down he barely lasts 48 hours before he says something controversial again.

Whether it is because his ego needs to always be in the headlines or if he constantly ramps up the crazy to get TV exposure in lieu of traditional campaigning (Jill Stein has spent more on ads than he has!) the pattern of escalation suggests we haven't seen the worst yet unfortunately.

Even if I supported him it would seem a daft strategy as he frequently overshadows campaign missteps by Clinton.
