He is probably coming as a box to box player. I think he can grab a few goals between now and the end of the season, breaking into the box from deep. Outright number 10's don't really work anymore imo.

Mata, James Rod, Siggy, Eriksen. Players like that where great 5 years ago. Football has moved on.

Lampard might see a Mount type player in Donny, but it's probably more probable he uses him in a 3 as a box to box, where Lampard played himself as a player.

It will be interesting to see how Donny adjusts. He is such a talented player but it is true he has not been at his best for Manchester United.

He will be our best midfielder and will start every game, which is what he needs. Hopefully the team will see the best of him now.

We have a left back, we even have central defenders, we have a midfield that doesn’t work so puts pressure on the defence and does precious little to aid the attack…..

Yes, we need a midfielder but for me the main priority is on the centre back
