Funny thing is, maybe having a guy who is returning to his parent club and maybe isn't as emotionally invested might be good. A calm head in the middle of the park.
Had 'available/in squad' said a few times with players before - often means on the bench and barely fit enough to play.

Not sure what the issue is with Allan, get the feeling Lampard doesn't fancy him and he is probably headed out the door. We looked immediately better when Delph came in for him, for a defensive minded guy Allan is very easily beaten these days. If we stay with the same shape I'd say Doucoure / VDB might be the best midfield 2.
