Funny, I can't see us spending a pound on him.Hope he goes back to United in the summer although I can see us blowing whatever the budget is on him.
He's not built for the premier League.

I'm not sure anyone could make United work.Im not sure United could make anybody work
Maybe he "gets us".I've watched all the post match celebrations numerous times and for someone who has barely played he was awfully hyped at the final whistle and seemed the most comfortable with the pitch invading fans.
You would have to be dead inside to not get caught up in them emotions last night, even the police and stewards looked like they enjoyed it.I've watched all the post match celebrations numerous times and for someone who has barely played he was awfully hyped at the final whistle and seemed the most comfortable with the pitch invading fans.
jeez you really hate the "gets us" comments ehMaybe he "gets us".
Quick! Sign him on a five-year deal!
I hate the idea that "getting us" in some way nullifies or compensates for incompetence or lack of effort. Getting us is about doing it on the pitch. Nobody says Jordan Pickford gets us, but he channeled the spirit of Neville Southall over the last month in particular to "get us" safe.jeez you really hate the "gets us" comments eh
by teh way i'm not saying we should keep VdB, but (this is prob OT) who's being said as "getting us" that bothers youI hate the idea that "getting us" in some way nullifies or compensates for incompetence or lack of effort. I was irked by the term earlier in the season when Richarlison was, basically, blowing chance after chance as we plunged into mortal danger. It was being used then to dismiss the very valid concerns about his form and also objective criticism of his often suspect finishing ability - especially for a man of his reputation. I think Richarlison is a great lad. But it doesn't really matter how great a lad someone is if they are not doing it on the pitch. He, of course, did when it really mattered in the last month. My biggest bugbear with the term is that it shows many Evertonians are more swayed by emotional sentimentality than by cold on-pitch performance. To me, that is one reason why our standards have fallen since the 1980s. This emotional need among many for their players to "get us" in the absence of success has been exploited by Bill Kenwright for 25 years. I mean, "what a manager!" He got us too, lovely man than he is. But, yeah, "what a manager."by teh way i'm not saying we should keep VdB, but (this is prob OT) who's being said as "getting us" that bothers you
and don't say Frank, because whether he sees us as a stepping stone or actually cares for us, i'll take that competitiveness and self-seeking motivation if it drags us up the table. someone purely "getting us" is the equivalent of putting dunc as manager
the whole team has been cold and poor this season, but richy is def someone who always played his heart out. i think the term "getting us" has to do with on-field effort. i'll take someone who risks everything vs someone of pure talent - that's why no one misses James or Lukaku that muchI was irked by the term earlier in the season when Richarlison was, basically, blowing chance after chance as we plunged into mortal danger. Personally I think once he knew Ten Hag was going to United he kinda knew it was only a loan.Lampard washed his hands of him weeks ago.
You can tell from some of his interviews, that he knew VDB wasn’t pushing to get back.
