NEA about Chelsea - we're Everton and we don't do easy - yes we screw up the Readings, Shrewsburys, Wigans, Oldhams... our history is littered with awful losses to clearly lesser sides (but no Worcester Citys mind) and it's also littered with massive wins in key cup ties. In fact we're masters at the UnderDog QF FA Cup win.. so for every West Brom cup final screw up (add: Palace, Forest in other Wembley finals and 35 yard screamers by Villa centre-halves) there's a Wimbledon, Newcastle, Derby (twice), Villa, Ipswich quarter final victory against the odds.

Remember praying in 1980 for us to get the then 2nd division west ham in the semi with Liverpool and arsenal the other two .do fancy us to beat Chelsea

....thinking back to 1968, ahead of the final Brian Labone said you rarely beat a team 3 times in a season. We had stuffed the baggies twice and came unstuck in the big one. Perhaps Labby was smiling when Terry scored that last minute equaliser.

That was why i was convinced we would win the semi in 2012 but i should have known better!

thing is, 2 out of 3 seasons we beat chelsea at goodison. So no fear here from me, if anything it's a favourable tie for us to play considering our good record.

Rather that then an unknown team who can win at goodison (united/arsenal etc)

The way I look at it Finners is regardless if they win or lose, the fa cup is all we have to play for so we will be full strength and doing everything in our power to win that game. Doesn't matter of they lose to PSG and all they have is the fa cup, we will want it just as much as them and this is where I think our home advantage will count.

would be nice to see them go through extra time and pens against PSG though, physically and mentally that would be a demanding game for them then.
Well put macca
