good point well made sirI'd prefer them to get gaped, and then their heads will be down and the pressure on them huge.
If they beat PSG they'll be full of confidence heading to Goodison

All those games do is give us false hope mate. We're going to get disappointingly easily knocked out. It's what we do.What was their priority early season when we smashed them 3-1 at Goodison mate?
What was their priority when we turned up at their place and got robbed by a goal that never should have been - to only draw 3-3? when European footy was over a ,month away for them?
....aye, there's the rub. Money OWNS modern-day football : Chelsea have truckloads, we have little. There's NO way the bought-and-paid for governance that run this venal game allow plucky Everton anything beyond :" they put up a plucky fight" narrative. It annoys me that compatriot Goters permit such largesse. It's all bent friends...bent beyond repair....money does that.
The half marathon is on in town on the sunday, wether that will affect the decision is anyones guess.
Liverpool were at home to chelsea on the sunday and it wasn't going to be a problemI would expect it will due to police staffing issues.

I don't much care whether they win or lose, to be honest. Them winning means a confidence boost heading into our game. Them losing means the FA Cup becomes their primary season focus and they throw everything at us.I'd prefer them to get gaped, and then their heads will be down and the pressure on them huge.

The premier league games at 12.45 saturday & 8.00 Monday can go ahead so we can probably rule out those slots, also we wont be the friday due to their champions league game. Sunday is totally clear as only Liverpool v Chelsea was scheduled for that day (but United will probably need one of those slots as they will play on the thursday in the EUropa id imagine)
So id hazard a guess that we will be on the sunday afternoon or saturday 5.30.
Friday Reading v Palace
Sat 5.30 Everton v Chelsea
Sun 1.30 & 4 Arsenal v Watford & Man Utd v West Ham
Best thing we can hope is Chelsea beat PSG so there focus will be on the champions league .

Genuinely difficult to say which scenario is better
