I thought I’d read in the past that people within football rated him as a coach, I think his problem is the fact that the management he’s worked for have never really chosen him, I think Everton have persuaded them all to use him as he’s a fans favourite.
Allardyce was the one who seems to involve him the most, heard rumours today that they have clashed big time in the past week, can’t see it myself as they’ve always looked friendly.

Noticed for the 1st time on Saturday against West Ham that Duncan was on his feet in the coaching area giving his twopenneth, never noticed him getting off his arse before then.

Also, by that logic, we shouldn't believe that Ferguson likes Allardyce. He's not going to slag his manager off to the press.

With the sorts of managers we're being linked with, and the sort of style they generally favour, I can't really see what Duncan could possibly contribute. Obvs could be generalising based on the type of player he was, but I do hope the board are reviewing all levels of management

time to get rid of the very best Marigold Everton retirement home for ex players and get people in who will make our current and future staff into better players.
I honestly thought that Pep Guardiola was all hype and I could have managed Barcelona and Bayern, but he has genuinely improved very good players and made them better, something that I was unsure that could happen.
Before someone jumps on me, I don't think we could get Pep, i'm just making the point that players can be improved with good coaching.

Needs to be gone, no other top level club would want him, we only have him because he is an icon, which dosent cut it any more, we need winners in all the right places

Give Gerrard his dues, he's off cutting his teeth up at Rangers,thought that would have been a decent fit for Dunc,but he is in a comfort zone at Goodison I fear.
