If you're part of a management team that has unequivocally, publically failed, and is being replaced - wouldn't you say it was unusual to be kept on? Especially if you repeated the trick another two times. Either you bring something so unique and valuable that you're irreplaceable. Or it's the opposite, you have so little skin in the game, so bereft of real responsibility, that no one can really blame you when the wheels come off. And if you're a nice bloke maybe you get to keep your job. Which do you think describes Duncan?

It's pretty clear that he's just laying out the cones. And having a clubman doing that is usually no bad thing (as said above), but we're sorely in need of a new broom and it's starting to look ridiculous him being here.

Will he survive another cull? Does he deserve to? Players have had some good things to say about him over the seasons but other than that I don't really have much of a clue what he does. Wouldn't fancy being the one to break the news if he was getting binned, mind.
