This thread deserves to go effing nowhere in my ever so 'umble opinion. On the other hand it takes all kinds. By popular acclaim the best contribution has to be mine in respect of the doorman's continued employment after refusing me a bag of shiit. He should have been sacked outright.

I've got a feeling he's gonna step up one day, and be everything we ever want.

Nah, won't happen. But if he's able to instill the passion for playing for us to the influx of new players, that will do nicely.

Imagine Mick Harford a few years ago. He'd have come across DF and left a pile of bones on the floor and run off laughing.

Unfortunately for you my friend , you are talking to someone of a "certain" age.
As we all know these views are subjective.
Don't agree with yours over this one. Dunc is up their with big Mick Lyons ( my all time hero). In my eyes.
Both are blue through and through.
Find some of your views slightly odd mate , about being a bit negative about most things.

Take a look at this.

Then tell me this does not get to you?

When we beat Norwich 3-2 at Carrow Road some years ago, there was a crowd waiting at the players entrance after the game. It was pouring with rain. All the players stopped for a few seconds to sign things, then headed swiftly into the coach. Ferguson came out, wasn't bothered about the rain, and stood with the Everton fans there for about 5 minutes, paying particular attention to the young kids, givng every one of them all the time they wanted with him for signature, photos etc.. THAT is a measure of the man.

I also believe that as a coach for the strikers, he toughened up Lukaku over time, and I also believe he has improved Niasse's game as well - he looks a completely different prospect to when he first arrived.

Brands: “There is a possibility he will leave. He talks with DC, that is not a secret. We will also talk with him. If he wants to make the move, then I can only say I hope he returns to Everton when he finishes in the MLS because he’s a legend of the club. I always did that at PSV - I will continue to do it here, to use the legends at the club.”
