There is no probalem. I just disagreed with what you said and how you put it.

Now, to this "point": everything I said about Moshiri's inglorious time here is a fact.

No mate, I have more hope and belief now then in the 20 years before he arrived. I’ve been watching for getting close to 60 years, I’ve seen the good and the bad, and this is starting to feel good......just my opinion though......

How much do you reckon Duncan is on a week? I myself don't think it will be much because wouldn't he have to pay debts back(due to his bankruptcy) if he was on,say 10 grand a week.

Doesn't really come into it as managers have their own team whom they habe worked with for years and when going into a job like to bring their own people in.

Why not just have a complete new approach with no links to previous managememt setups and try something new?

If he is a good coach then fair enough but sometimes changes are needed. I just think that when a new man arrives the decks need to be cleared.
i agree with the change thing, Alex Ferguson used to regularly swap his number 2 every 3 years or so to freshen things up and get new ideas in. He must have something to be kept on whether it be coaching talent or a bit of dirt on BK

I see the overview like this:

2 1/2 years he's been here - in that time we're onto our 5th manager (if Unsworth is counted); the club's commercial arm is stunted still; the stadium issue has a big question mark over funding and it's in the doldrums; we as a club have lost credibility as an organisation that knows who it is and what it's doing.

In short: he's been an utter disaster.
Re the managers : I didn’t disagree with any of his appointments at the time and I think he was right to get rid of them all when he did. Need to remember of the 5 unsworth and Sam were temporary stop gaps. Issues with the stadium? Please enlighten me : what issues? Lastly, commercial success follows sustained success on the pitch. Do you think people in Asia are interested in buying the Everton shirt right now? Even if we were absolutely maximizing our commercial potential the income would be dwarfed by the sky money. Let’s worry about that part once we’ve bagged a few pots eh?

Yeah, let's give him credit for trying to correct his own munumental balls up appointment by hiring a new monumental balls up appointment.

Issues with the stadium: the 'billionaire' with the great contacts in the world of investment has raised the sum total of f.a. to fund this (make believe) stadium. Funding is EVERYTHING. We have NONE.

I don’t agree with you and I sincerely hope that I am proved correct. Are you saying he should have just stuck with Koeman because. That was his man even though Koeman appeared to be engineering an exit? He was big enough to remove him. Big enough to remove Sam and he’s got a new person at the helm now. Bought the liver building I think the are definite statements of intent. But it will take time. You are a half empty man who would probably want silva and Mioshiri to fail just to suit your own agenda on here which is sad. Grow up will ya!

I think the point is he shouldnt have touched Koeman with a bargepole as it was always....at worst...going to be a dull waste of time and achieve not much better than we had done in the majority of the previous 20 season. He definitely shouldnt have profiled him as top name to match the top names at the top 6 clubs and thrown a load of money at him.

He then shouldnt have sacked him when he did without a proper plan ending in the worst decision Ive seen anybody at everton ever make in employing the corrupt oaf.

On topic I have to say Dave, who the hell knows what coaches actually bloody do and how well they do it. Ive no idea what ferguson does and why he is still with us but ill just assume Silva is happy to have him around.

in your eyes not in my eyes. It’s conjecture it’s not fact. Dave what would you do if you made a mistake. Probably not admit it and carry on bloody regardless. Thank Christ your not the captain of the ship.

Maybe so but bear in mind Southampton had their squad decimated the year Koeman took over then preceded to buy players such as van dyck and Tadic players we courted-but I didn’t I think on paper it didn’t look like a bad appointment initially. I personally quite liked Martinez but it was clear he had lost the dressing room and Koeman was the opposite in character to him. I stated that Moshiri had made mistakes but is it a crime to feel a bit of positivity in this day and age.

So the time under Johnson and BK met with your approval and was not inglorious?

Which one was that exactly?
