Ferguson has been acting manager for about eight days... are people seriously making judgements on his ability in that time ?
We know certain things about him, that he seems to like a variation of 442, he seems to be able to organise a team to defend better than they have for a number of months and by putting Holgate into midfield we see they are able to think around a problem.
However, because of injuries the team is nearly picking itself up and we have to wait and see if this improvement is a new manager bubble or something more.
I think there are a couple of things I find promising... he seems able to make strong if unpopular decisions and he brings an energy to the touchline that I have not seen in years.
