I'm surprised there are some that aren't ready to go on this journey with Duncan and see how this goes. This is genuinely exciting. Seeing players that were bottom 3 perform at the level they should be performing at. What more can you expect from any manager?

This all day. We've had nothing to celebrate or get behind for years and suddenly a manager comes in, the match going fans get behind him, the players are giving 100%, we've taken 4 points from games against Chelsea and Man Utd and people still aren't happy!

Everyone said this run of games was a nightmare and we'd be lucky to get anything from it. Duncan has come in and suddenly we have belief. He may not be the answer long term, but as @toffee9 said, this is exciting, let's get behind him and see where it goes.

100% agree. But right now the squad and fans are happy and a scrappy win on Wednesday transforms our season.

After that game is the right time to bring in the longer term option.

I was set against Ferguson being given the job, even on a temporary basis and I even stupidly criticised him for being one of the problems under all of our previous appointments as didn’t see what he brought to the table. I know absolutely nothing about what goes on in training or what he actually offers as does everybody else on here, it was a stupid assumption to make.

However I am absolutely delighted with what he has done over the last two games and so should every other Evertonian. A lot of perspective needs to be looked at, injuries, form, league positioning, player confidence, team moral, teams played etc... I honestly don’t know how anybody can find a negative out of this, some forget where we were just 3 games ago. Whole season was in disarray. Now we have our fight back, players are motivated, fans alike, form looking good, players still to return from injury etc... Absolutely nobody knows what’s going to happen long term, the bubble may burst at some point but right now let’s just enjoy what’s happening.

Looking at the types of managers available at this moment in time. If the likes of Moyes, Howe or Arteta are the best we are going to get Id happily see Ferguson given the reigns until the end of the season.
