It's nostalgia. I get it. But it cant go on beyond Arsenal. No point telling the facts Dave. The ‘true blues’ won’t have it.

That’s got f all to do with it,,, he’s given his all and your putting him downIt's nostalgia. I get it. But it cant go on beyond Arsenal.
He's done ok. Not disgraced himself.Haha you don't mince your words do ya, club legend or not!
You may well be right but if we can get a point from Arsenal you must agree its been a worthwhile endeavour don't you think?
If we'd lost the two last games we'd be right down there in the soup. Ask yourself would Silva have achieved more over this festive period?
Would be happy for him to continue for the rest of December to be honest. Ancelotti on paper is everything you would want from a manager, he's won and seen it all, vast amounts of experience, tactical knowledge, managed some of the best clubs around and handled elite level players but I'm not quite sure he's what we need. Yes I know that sounds stupid.
I mean Duncan Ferguson vs Carlo Ancelotti...it's not even a contest but I can't shake the feeling that we need somebody who knows the club inside out, loves the club, ignites the fans and gets the team fighting for the shirt. I mean Ancelotti could very well do that himself but we are the poorest squad he's going to manage in 20 years.
It’s working thoughIt is basic mate. Silva had a depleted first team but had them playing with more guile, if less commitment.
Ferguson is a bargain basement motivator.
I'm saying he's too basic and limited. That’s got f all to do with it,,, he’s given his all and your putting him down

One win, one loss, one draw.Getting back to basics is good when you're in a relegation battle. I think most people would agree that Duncan has done an incredible job. If Ferguson is a bargain basement motivator then why did the likes of Martinez, Koeman, Silva, Allardyce failed in this aspect considering their experience?
The reality is there's more to Duncan than what you know.
One win, one loss, one draw.
Incredible?
I wouldn’t want him full time either,,give him the Liverpool fa cup game and then hand over ,, give Carlo, if it is him time to chill on a beach watch the videos ,, then kick on. But to slag him off is well undeservedI'm saying he's too basic and limited.
Done reasonably well. That's it.
I'd like to see him doing what Lampard and Gerrard did. I sense though that he hasn't got the drive to leave Everton. Wants a short cut to a job. He cant even be arsed taking all his badges, which he should easily have had years ago.
It's a loss mate....and we were EXTREMELY forutunate to get it to pens.A lost penalty shoot out is recorded as a draw for stats purpose. He's done an incredible job with a depleted team.
I seem to remember you saying that you won't go to Goodison, while Bill Kenwright is involved. He's been there a long time, so i guess you haven't been for a long time, right? To have more experience of GP than me you'll need to attend another few more decades of home games. I'm practically part of that ground's DNA.
