All this palaver and adulation over a bang average player who had an attitude problem.

I just see him for what I think he is: an utter waster who's mugged millions off the club for years.
Dave, if you want people to respect your opinion, I would suggest the above corrections

Just seen his presser and comes across as a really intelligent person

A shame Sky sports news showed bad manners and cut his press interview off to cut over to Pep, ignorant!

Yes he came across excellent in the snippet we saw and far more a proper managers outlook than Silva ever showed.

It also came across clear to me when he mentioned "mixed feelings" re. Silvas sacking, he may as well have said the players punched the air with joy. I liked that, rather than saying everyone is in mourning.

I also reckon he's got the backing of the players or I don't think he'd have taken the roll on.

Just hope everyone gives him a great ovation tomorrow, he gets a result and a bit of fight from the team.........and the board hang fire over jumping in for a panic buy multi million pound a year unproven no mark, again.

Sensible he was hauled off in the Derby as he was getting a run around.......
That wasn’t totally his fault, the system and personal silva put of was shocking, they were all struggling it was just us lucky for him he was taken off. He’s a French international RB he’s can’t be that bad.

Whatever about his coaching ability, he has come a very long way when dealing with the media.

He did well there.

Obviously I hope we get a result tomorrow for his sake and ours, but I think his coaching career would benefit if he moved out of his comfort zone and took a job at another club in a different environment.

He has become a bit like a favourite teddy at Everton now.

lolwut?

Shame you never saw him play - very gifted footballer. You can talk about not meeting his potential, being injury prone etc but he was a long long way from average.

Course plenty of people think he was just a thuggish alehouse player, but that's people who only read about football on the internet. No one who saw him play firsthand thinks that.
