I don't think he's any old left footer though. I think he is talented and still has time to develop. His crossing is already very good and he can keep the ball and beat a man and he's good defensively. I think he will improve us and many will be surprised.

Again, i'm not saying he's not a decent player. I'm not convinced that he solves any of our major problems and so the signing doesn't excite me, but I won't be surprised by him personally doing well. He's young, the fee isn't outrageous, it's not a horrible signing by any means. I'm just not sure it's a particularly good one either, but we'll see.

I've seen enough of the lad over the years to see he has a bit of quality about him.

Lets see how he fits into the system we play and in what role. That will be what makes or breaks him.

He really is not slow though.

This is what we get when people view football as stats. When the ball is at his feet he can move it very quickly. That's the important thing. No point having fast players who can not run with a ball at their feet.

Supposedly more of a creator, though his state don't agree with this, hoping that's because he played for a very defensive Burnley. I remember the goal he scored against us and I hope we can bring more of that out of him. What I have noticed from his clips, he's definitely a baller, can beat a man, can cross ( DCL) , can pass and is comfortable on the ball. The last two of them attributes our midfield doesn't possess. But I know for a fact we need more goal scorers in our team, he's definitely not going to solve that. A new DM and a good goalscorer, plus a couple of loans for squad depth, Guaye/ Barkley/ Winks/ Gilmour as squad fillers.

He will be a good signing for us. Decent pace, good dribbling and crossing ability and an excellent attitude. Needs to improve his passing and above all his shooting. It's not his fault we are skint and had to sell Richarlison.
