Can’t wait til he’s 23 in 3 days time and people can stop using “he’s 22” to justify 3 and a half seasons of absolute crud he’s churned out.

150 games at top flight level is a huge sample size.

He wasnt good for Burnley and he has been poor for us. People are right to wonder why he was signed.

To have a chance in the premier league a player needs to be either quick, very skillful or extremely tough. To have a good chance of being successful he needs to have at least two of those attributes. Unfortunately McNeill doesn't seem to have any of those attributes and will, I believe, struggle to be more than a squad filler. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but, I believe it to be true.
