Both were an absolute joke all match in term of effort, and gray wasn’t much better when he came on.

Maupay ran about a little more than the others, but I can’t really have a go at him as he isn’t the forward you want getting long balls blasted up to him for 90 mins.

The movement was atrocious from the front players and the midfield, has been for some - look at every other side in the league, and they do it better than we do.

Considering frank was one of the best I. The world at making runs and arriving late in the box I’m not sure exactly what he’s doing with them in training.
I think the thing that sticks out for me is the ego on Gordon. He is definitely not lacking in any confidence or belief. But his understanding of space and positioning is some of the worst ive ever seen.

He’s the least aggressive player I’ve ever seen. Amazed Dyche put up with him tbh.

He’s a master at that fake press thing where he’ll run up to someone dead fast so it gets recorded on the pressing stats, but then just stop dead and not even try to put a foot in. Sigurdsson was the best at that manoeuvre, but this fella runs him close. As cowardly a player as I’ve ever seen in more ways than one.

Mcneils game is to get his head up and put it in the box to a target man. Him and Townsend are actually two of the best crossers of the ball in the prem. Shame we don't actually play a target man and ours is always injured ?

Nah Gylfi at least ran around quite a lot, even if it was half-arsed pressing it was some sort of pressing/chasing.

McNeil is... something else lol

He hasn’t even put a lot of crosses in tbh. Maybe because there isn’t anyone to aim at, but he’s rarely in the final 3rd to deliver anyway.
He also had lots of shots at Burnley (mainly over the bar) but hasn’t even managed that.

Lewis Dobbin is better than this guy.
I thought so too, back in that Chelsea game when both played. Dobbin was a threat while Simms looked like a lump. However, Simms' loan spell looks far better than Dobbin's this season which makes recalling Simms more logical.

But this is still Everton so I trust no decision at all.
