I remember watching him closely against Brighton under Lampard and without the ball he would tuck into the midfield and kept getting caught out when the ball went wide because he had to shift back into position.

He did this so consistently that it had to be an instruction. 1st half 2nd half at no point did this change.

It was totally exposing us and everyone could see it but it had to be a tactic.

He’s a different player under Dyche.

Mad how a couple of months ago he used to just give the ball away constantly

He's doing what's asked of him from Dyche and that's all you can ask. He can certainly add the odd goal and he's going to need to add another 2 or 3 I think.

Let's get it right, he's massively limited in a huge amount of things but in general the squad is abysmal so we need player to not just step up, but actually contribute beyond their normal standards. That's what I see from him currently I feel he's contributing more than what's expected.

Well done kid, you may need another 3 or 4 rockets this season like today to help us. But getting that shot away early was quality

He needs to play on the other side of the field so he can go left and it isn't so easy to just crowd him out
If you place him on the right then he has to cut in, straight away your taking away his crossing strengths. also your making it just as or even more easier for the opposition to plan for. swapping flanks now and then during a game is never a bad thing but to use him on the right as a set position, your taking away his strengths and we will never see the best of him.
once we get a proper striker in the box we will see even more benefits from that left peg of his.
