xG...not having a go at you but this stuff is rubbish, you can expect to score all you like but it means zero. You can see with your own eyes if you are creating or not. It is not a game of statistics

It was sort of my point mate. The xG said Brighton should have won that game and we clearly, utterly smoked them.

I think it can be useful, often a measure of how good the chances you created actually were. But not in the case of last night.
