Yeah all the ex Burnley players now feel at home
That dribble showed how confident he currently is. That finish was a joy to watchIt's the mental toughness. McNeil has already been counted out, more than once. Yet here he is, putting in performances like that. Like others have said, he was everywhere, putting in the kind of shift that is typical of a high energy, low quality player who wants to make a difference by doing “the things that don't show up in the stats." but then he scores phenomenal goals, like goals that any striker at a top club in a top League would be glad to own. You could not get two better goals than the ones he scored yesterday, and they are so unlike each other, how many players can dance through three Defenders and literally fake the keeper out of his shoes and dribble around him, and then put that kind of rocket on a postage stamp from a dead run in the 96th minute? Still seems surreal.
Who scored.com gave him a perfect 10.0. Maybe that's happened before, I don't know, but it's rare to even see a nine since their model measures all around play, defensive actions, everything.

He is decently quick but he looks slow relative to his position on the pitch. The difference last night for he and Iwobi was Brighton were leaving ton of space on the counter and they were able to just bust their guts and beat their man. It’s a big difference between having defenders chase you into space as opposed to trying to beat your man on the dribble. Was a couple of times last night I was sort of suprised at how quick he appeared to be, he usually looks like he’s running in treacle. Not sure if it was just the tug boats he was racing against or if he has one of those ‘languid’ styles where he looks slower than he actually is.
YeahPeter Johnson?
Good to see he has followed Michael Keane's example and got in the team of the week
