For all the comments saying he’s crap offensively, I seem to remember seeing him score a worldy, I just can’t quite remember who it was against………oh that’s it, it was against us……obviously. So he can do it, when played in the correct position.
Same can be said of Bolasie? How many goals has he scored since then?

For all those who criticised him last night, they missed that he was doing this.

It’s clear that this was his assigned role.
This is why we can’t score any goals. Our attack is toothless. He’s worthless we have Gana now.

Oh did I mention he’s slow whenever we’re on a counter attack and the ball gets passed to him.. the counter attack is over.

We should of threw a bag at Samuel Chukwueze this is going to haunt us.

I hope he comes on and scores a worldie winner on Saturday and shuts up all the downers on here…
Wait until he’s pinging crosses in for Dominic Calvert-Lewin to tap in
I hope you are right. Still, he had quite a few heads to aim at at Burnley did not result in too many assists. Love to be proven wrong, hard worker if nothing else

Think we just need to accept that he's not going to be an exciting dribbling winger in the Gray/Gordon mould, or even a walking dead ball specialist like a Bilyaletdinov or someone. He's a hard working, grafting player who'll humbly do a great job for the team without grabbing the headlines - but will sometimes come up with a goal or assist, and be particularly effective in away games where we're more on the back foot.

I hope his attacking prowess grows and develops - but for now his brief is to work his tail off and do a job while he gets up to speed for his new club.

Think Kilbane more than Kanchelskis

He is a good dribbler though, very good in fact. The question mark for me is just where he fits in and what he actually offers to this team as it is. I don't think he naturally fits as part of a front 3 and that is reflected in what we've seen from him so far. He's undoubtedly a decent player in his own right, it's just a case of whether he can adapt to find a role in the team where he can flourish.

Is he? His feet move so slowly that he can’t get away from players or change direction sharply, he looks like he’s running in slow motion which is very easy to defend against. I think we just have to accept him for what he is, a secondary full back in the mould of a Tony Hibbert.

Nah he genuinely is a good dribbler. Your concerns about him are valid and I share them, but one thing he can definitely do is dribble. He won't leave players in his wake because he's not very quick, but he can run with the ball. He's like an old fashioned 4 4 2 winger, he gets up and down the wing, works hard, can run with the ball and cross it. In the modern game and with us playing a front 3 you're not always looking for someone with that skillset so i'm not sure how it's going to pan out for him, and obviously that may affect how much of his dribbling ability we see, because he's going to be getting the ball in different areas, but he can do it.
