Think we just need to accept that he's not going to be an exciting dribbling winger in the Gray/Gordon mould, or even a walking dead ball specialist like a Bilyaletdinov or someone. He's a hard working, grafting player who'll humbly do a great job for the team without grabbing the headlines - but will sometimes come up with a goal or assist, and be particularly effective in away games where we're more on the back foot.
I hope his attacking prowess grows and develops - but for now his brief is to work his tail off and do a job while he gets up to speed for his new club.
