With the taxing events ongoing in his personal life along with being overplayed he needs some time to recuperate and just come off the bench. Also I think he has positive attributes but doesn't suit high pressing counter attacking football due to his languid style

Would agree on townsend not so much om gray had his moments but was not enough, would jaut going missing in alot of games. Been a really poor season from him hopefully like the rest of the squad can get some form back and better luck off the pitch with what is going on. Is an area in the litch we 100% need options to rotate in next seqson

Mcneil on 2 goals, Harrison on 3 goals, DCL on 3 goals.

Abysmal return for the 3 players who get the most minutes. All played 20+ games as well.

I think if you look at the impact on games gray had compared to what mcneil offers , gray had more impact and backed up defenders .

Different types of player like. Mcneil wins only on application.

Dwight McNeil has definitely had more impact than Gray did, and in less matches. This was rehashed before we sold Gray, and some people seem to have forgotten how many of his goals were penalties or absolutely meaningless. Score 2 great ones and everyone forgets the other 70 matches.

Agree that gray can have bigger impact on games is just that its more 1/7 or something. Is how you say mcneil is on application as he works woth the fb aswell. Still hope we can see mire from the whole attack this season

Oh no doubt Gray wasn't good enough either but as a player , gray scared defenders more and got us up the pitch much faster . The numbers are similar.
