2024/25 Dwight McNeil

He's a Dyche favourite and that's what Dyche does, he rewards mediocrity

Plays LW = Left winger Harrison moved RW.

Plays ACM = ACMs Ndiaye & Lindstrom used as wingers.

Plays when Injured and doesnt train all week = Every other player benched.

There is absolutely no excuse now for anyone to say Dyche doesnt have favourites.

McNeil straight back & Keane not dropped for Branthwaite.

Young has been fine last few games but he was also kept in the team when a walking red card.

McNeil has done well this season but I suspect a different and superior manager uses others at 10 ahead of him.

This is it, Branthwaite been fit for weeks, only gets late sub cameos whereas Dwight by all accounts hadn’t trained most of the week but plays the full game
I think it’s clear that the manager has favourites who will play every week regardless of form or fitness which is laughable considering his constant soundbites to the contrary. McNeil was awful last week, went off injured and played every second today and was equally awful. If he can still walk next weekend you know he is playing the whole game

I don't think he's done well this season, he just had a good two and a half games and it's clouded a lot of people's judgement on him. He's an absolutely terrible player as once again demonstrated today against by far the worst team in the division apart from us. When he plays like he did today, and it happens often, we might as well be a man down.

Disagree, I think he's a good player but needs to be one of three and not the 'fulcrum' of the attack as a 10.

On the left he can put crosses in...on the right he can put inswingers or play to the 10 for combinations.

I think it makes far more sense to have the 3 interchanging all game at will...not to be so set in their roles.

He's not got the technical level of Ndiaye or Lindstrom let alone the drives forward they make...
