2024/25 Dwight McNeil

This is unforgivable IMO. No player should be laughing when you’re losing. Especially 4-0 down.
Walter Smith got rid of Michael Ball and Jeffers for doing something similar on the team bus after a defeat.
Wasn't that a league cup game and Ball said " Don't worry boss we will win the 2nd leg" to which Smith gently reminded them that it was a one legged game and we were already out?

How in the modern age of football does a scouting team ok a player who’s kryptonite is something as simple as being shown onto his opposite foot?

According to Kevin Thelwell, when we signed him, he said

“the statistics prove we have brought in one of the best young talents in English football.”

Here are his stats at Burnley

147 appearances 7 goals 17 Assists

Ahh good they have a statistically minded recruitment team who don’t know how to interpret even the most basic statistics.

Bold strategy

You maybe right on that mate. I remember both of them were supposed to have been laughing and joking between themselves and Walter took umbrage and wanted both out the club.
Same should happen here by the way. I suppose employment law is different now though especially mental health etc.

Probably the same statistical inspired approach that resulted in splurging most of our transfer budget in the summer to sign a centre back who the manager has decided is only the 4th best centre back at the club.

I base this statement on nothing more than what people have been saying on here but that looks to be a dodgy deal to help out a bloke who they thought would be buying the club

Not sure whether it's his huge dong that makes him so slow on the field, but when he performs like he does 90% of the time he's a liability. Again, not really his fault that he's tasked with being a key player in a Premier League side, but he's never going to perform at this level.

It's quite frankly embarrassing to watch a professional footballer be unable to use their weaker foot, and I've never seen players go so out of their way to not use it.

When I was young I was massively left-footed but by my teens I was more than comfortable trapping, controlling and giving simple passes with my right. I taught myself to control a ball with my right by passing it off a wall and keeping it up using my right foot only, yet this crab can't even touch the ball with this right.
