2024/25 Dwight McNeil

Thought he'd messed up the pass hitting it too straight at the defender but it was inch perfect.

Season a general write off with low fitness but I'm actually excited to see him kick on under Moyes.

I know he's a marmite player on here (probably due to his close association with Dyche) but even in poor seasons Dwight still gets 6-7 goals and similar number of assists like today and set pieces and that shouldn't change next season if he plays over 30 games.

Also the type Moyes will improve with better decision making as he's done with many similar standard players in the past. He's still young enough to take more instructions on board.

I've always said find a rapid player for the right and a McNeill type the other side is perfectly fine, it's just frustration the recruitment lot can't do it in any transfer window so McNeill has to take most of that on out wide and the one thing you can't really coach is pace.

Does he? He is 25 years old and he has scored more than 3 in a season just once.

He gets 5/6 assists most seasons. I like him but doesnā€™t score near enough goals.
