Sadly I agree because who else would want to take over us ? Moyes though past his best is still an improvement on Dyche in my eyes.

For 85 minutes there that side showed they are capable, if they are confident and if they are allowed, they can play good football.

How do you get that out of them more regularly? Probably not Dyche, maybe Moyes but maybe that showed a more forward thinking manager than either of them could work. We don't have to be condemned to dirge.

BUT at the same time, as a straight instant swap, Moyes over Dyche absolutely.

I would n`t have been up for a Moyes return up until this afternoon. I was n`t at the game, but we were 2-0 up and sounded like we were in control but just completely bottled it. A Moyes team in that position would have taken the 3 points home. Do it in the international break and we might hit the ground running after it. Can`t get over us signing players and not playing them.

He’d deffo come back. Last season at Goodison. Potential to be the manager taking us into a new ground. The saying “never go back” comes to mind though. And West Ham fans despised him.

It's all well and good wanting a big fancy name, with fantasies of doing a Newcastle or Villa and breaking the top 4. But frankly, given how low we've fallen, there's a lot to be said for a safe pair of hands like Moyes. We need to stop the rot and first improve to the point we're not battling relegation every season. Merely the thought of being a consistent top 10 team feels like heaven compared to where we are right now. Our squad is rotten and the manager is as useless as a fat man trying to do a pole vault
